HOW TO GET TO TAGANGA?
Taganga is a place located 15 minutes north of Santa Marta, in the Caribbean region of Colombia. To get to Taganga from Santa Marta airport you can take a bus with direct destination to Taganga, the cost of the bus does not exceed $2,000. Buses are located outside the airport and pass frequently. Another option is to take a taxi at the airport, the cost will not exceed $20,000.
GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE IN TAGANGA
Taganga is a fishing village, located in the north of the country at 3 meters above sea level, with an area of 136 km2. It has an average temperature of 28°C, it is advisable to take clothes for warm climates, swimsuit, sunscreen and repellent, an excellent recommendation is to take a hat or cap.

The Samarian gastronomy is characterized by the abundance of seafood, Taganga, being located in Santa Marta, handles all the typical dishes of this region of the country. You can not leave Taganga without having tried the Cayeye or coastal cat’s head, which is a mixture of crushed green guineos accompanied by grated coastal cheese.

Pura Vida Camping: is located 100 meters from the beach. It offers WiFi, shared kitchen service, hammocks, and a camping area in Taganga. It is located at Carrera 2 # 18-30.

The entrance to Taganga beach is free of charge. The nearby beaches, such as Playa Grande, are also exempt from entrance fees.
