Tablazo Paramo is located approximately two hours from Bogotá, in the municipality of Subachoque. To get to the Páramo el Tablazo you must get to the municipality of Subachoque. There you must take a bus to the Tablazo, the route is Vereda el Páramo – Pantano de Arce – El Tablazo.

The walk starts from the Arce Reservoir, a dam that supplies water to nearby municipalities such as Subachoque and San Francisco. From the Patano de Arce Reservoir the route goes up to this stone wall that many have catalogued as the Subachoque Wall or the Sky Balcony.
