HOW TO GET TO RIO CLARO RESERVE?
The Río Claro Reserve is located in the department of Antioquia in the central mountain range, in the municipalities of Sonsón and San Francisco, 3 hours from Medellín and 10 hours from Bogotá (542 kilometers). To get to La Reserva Río Claro from Bogotá, you must first arrive in the city of Medellín. La Mulata Hotel is located 3 minutes from the porter’s lodge, on the internal road. It is a building in the middle of the trees, is a very quiet place and has the advantage of having the best view for bird watching. Its rooms have a capacity of 2 to 6 people. It is a hotel with easy access.
The Hotel Rio Claro has 32 independent cabins, this hotel has a swimming pool with a slide, an area for games and beautiful green areas. It is located outside the reserve, in front of the lodge. It has free parking.
